Meg wakes up at 8:00 a.m. to bake pies
Meg’s oven is slow-2 hours to bake a blueberry pie at 500 degrees—The meringue for the lemon mostly sets after an hour of baking
Meg makes
4 Chocolate pies
2 Lemon Meringue pies
2 Banana pies
4 Blueberry pies
Cherry and apple pies still needed to be made
While pies are baking, Catie is in the air; Meg attempts to get last minute press because earlier attempts garnered nothing.
Pies are done!
Meg wraps pies in plastic, grabs tablecloth dresses, and throws an umbrella in her bag. She kisses her husband on the cheek and walks to the train
Meg leaves message for Catie hoping she has landed
Catie calls Meg she is here! And waiting for a car—Meg and Catie decide to meet at 60th St. and 5th Ave at 11:45
