We got in!

Dear All,

We are happy that you will be part of the Art Parade this year! We have an exciting group and are looking forward to September 6th.

As a reminder, it would be great if you confirm your participation and number of participants. We would also appreciate if you could send us an email with your credits for the Art Parade program (name or artist/group, title of project, year, medium if applicable, participants/notes) AND your cell phone number by August 1st. Next week, we will be assigning you someone from the Art Parade Team to be your point person. He/she will be the ones to follow up with you and can help with any questions you might have.

For those of you who are based in New York, I wanted to inform you that we have a relationship with Materials for the Arts, an organization that manages a warehouse of materials that can be used for artists projects. By early next week, you can call them to make an appointment to visit their warehouse in Long Island City, Queens. They may ask for you to write thank you letters to various donors that supply their warehouse with goods. Please treat this request seriously, as not doing this might jeopardize our chances of working with them in the future. Please also stick to your appointments once they have been made. Here is a link to their website: http://www.mfta.org/

I have attached our current press release. We will add more details for the later edition in August. Posters will probably be ready by August 8th, if you want to come by and pick up a few to give to friends.

We will be in touch mid to late August with more information pertaining to the day of the parade, including local parking garage info, your order in the parade, storage, etc. Unless you have an urgent question, it would be great if you could wait until your Art Parade point person gets in touch with you.

Best,

Leslie
